About the Artist

I am a freelance scientific illustrator based out of Berkeley, California.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Science from Florida State University but my bench experience is almost entirely based in genetics, cell, and molecular biology. I've been working as a Research Associate at the University of California, Berkeley for 6 years in a lab that studies proteostasis and aging.

My current experimental projects include cell non-autonomous signaling of mitochondrial stress and translational dynamics with age.

Most of my work is produced as a digital medium; primarily in Adobe Illustrator. Many of my current works are featured in journals such as Cell and Cell Metabolism.
